IES照明奖(IES Illumination Awards)是由超过百年历史的IES(北美照明工程协会，Illuminating Engineering Society of North America)颁发，一年一届，迄今为止，IES照明奖已经成功举办到第46届。
它与《照明》杂志(Lighting magazine)颁发的照明设计奖(Lighting Design Awards)和国际照明设计师协会(International Association of Lighting Designers)颁发的IALD 照明奖，并列为当今全球最权威的三大照明设计奖项，代表了当年全球最高设计水平，其中IES照明奖是历史最为悠久的一项。
IES Illumination Awards 照明设计奖类别：
· Illumination Award for Interior Lighting Design, sponsored by Edwin Guth 室内照明设计奖。
· Illumination Award for Outdoor Lighting Design, sponsored by Eaton 室外照明设计奖。
· The Energy and Environmental Lighting Design Award and the Control Innovation Award sponsored by the Lighting Controls Association 节能与环保设计奖与 照明控制创新奖。
今年的奖项共有三个级别：
·Award of Distinction 杰出奖
Awarded for extraordinary achievement in lighting design，奖励照明设计中的非凡成就。
· Award of Excellence 卓越奖
Awarded for an exceptional contribution to the art and science of light，奖励对光的艺术和科学运用的杰出贡献。
· Special Citation 特别提名奖
Recognizes superior elements for a portion of a project，对项目中特殊元素的奖励。
